Deoxycholic acid (DCA) is injected into the treatment area to eliminate fat and reduce unwanted fullness. This treatment is ideal for under-chin fullness and will gradually improve the appearance of submental fullness within a series of treatments. Approximately 2-3 treatments will be needed over the course of nine months for optimal results. Best results can be seen within 2-3 months after the final treatment with significant improvement after one treatment.
