Electrodessication is a quick and simple office-based technique where an electrical current is used to remove specific skin lesions on the surface of the skin by essentially drying out the skin cells causing their destruction.  It can be used to easily remove lesions such as sebaceous hyperplasia, cherry angiomas, seborrheic keratoses, skin tags, and brown spots among others.
